Carolina Coastal Community (3C) is teaming up with Bahamas Disaster Housing Assistance.  

If you would like donate to the BDHA fund and help Bahamians stay in the Bahamas this is the campaign you can donate to.
Your donations help us find housing in the Bahamas for those who lost everything after Hurricane Dorian.  There is an ongoing need in our country for housing for evacuees from Abaco and Grand Bahama. The Bahamas Disaster Housing Assistance will help address this current need. With their Adopt a Family campaign, There are a few ways you can get involved.

1-Assist a family with their first, last, and security deposit.
2-Provide rent for six months.
3-Make your home or apartment available to a needy family.

The US Virgin Islands is in the midst of a tourism renaissance, according to recently-released data.

The USVI is reporting close to a 50 percent increase in stay-over arrivals this year.

It’s what the USVI Department of Tourism is calling a “clear signal” that tourism in the territory is on a strong rebound.

The USVI welcomed 347,725 stay-over arrivals on St Thomas for the year to date – a nearly 70 percent increase over 2018, according to Commissioner of Tourism Joseph Boschulte.

One of Aruba’s most beloved hotels is getting bigger. 

Aruba’s Boardwalk Small Hotel will soon debut the fruits of a major expansion project that will see the property rebranded as the Boardwalk Boutique Hotel. 

On Nov. 15, the Boardwalk will be reopening with the addition of 32 new casitas, along with amenities like a new pool, a fitness and spa facility, a transformed lobby and “on-trend food and beverage offerings at the added Lobby Cafe,” according to a statement.

Marriott is planning a big comeback in St Thomas, with plans to reopen its signature Frenchman’s Reef resort and open a new resort under the Autograph Collection brand. 

The combined $200 million project will see both properties open in 2020, according to a statement from the company. 

The new Autograph resort will be called Noni Beach, a St Thomas Resort.
